Freelance SRE / CDN Engineer – 3-month contract – Hybrid near London

We are looking for an experienced SRE / Infrastructure Engineer with strong CDN experience for a short-term freelance assignment.

You will support a fast-moving technical environment, focusing on reliability, performance, scalability, and CDN-related optimisation.

Key requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with CDN technologies such as Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, CloudFront or similar
Solid background in Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering or DevOps
Experience with performance optimisation, caching, traffic routing, edge delivery, DNS, monitoring and incident response
Comfortable working in high-availability, production-critical environments
Able to work 2–3 days per week on-site near London
Freelance availability for an initial 3-month contract
