Private Client Solicitor / Professional Support Lawyer – Manchester - Up to £85,000 + Benefits
A top-tier Legal 500 firm with a strong national reputation is seeking a Private Client Solicitor / Professional Support Lawyer to join its highly regarded Private Client department. The firm is known for advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family business owners and leading charities, and is continuing to invest significantly in its national growth and technical capability.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a specialist knowledge-focused role at the heart of a high-performing Private Client practice. You will play a key part in enhancing technical excellence across the team while contributing to the firm’s continued development and innovation in complex private client work.
The Role:
- Acting as a technical specialist and go-to advisor for complex Private Client matters
- Providing authoritative guidance on high-level legal issues across the team
- Developing, maintaining and improving internal knowledge resources, precedents and best-practice materials
- Supporting fee-earners with complex technical queries and strategic legal input
- Contributing to the development of training and know-how across the Private Client department
- Supporting matters involving international estates and cross-border succession issues
- Advising on succession planning for business owners and entrepreneurial clients
- Assisting with charity-related Private Client and legacy matters
- Playing a role in shaping the ongoing strategic development of the department
About You:
- Private Client Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE
- Strong technical expertise across Private Client law, including complex estates and tax planning
- Experience gained within a respected regional, national or Legal 500 firm
- A genuine interest in legal knowledge, training and process improvement
- Commercially aware with the ability to simplify and communicate complex legal issues
- Proactive, detail-focused and highly organised
- Confident acting as a technical authority within a team environment
- Passionate about improving standards and driving best practice
