We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new luxury care home near

Wolverhampton, offering specialist nursing, dementia, and residential care. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new service, recruit and develop a dedicated team, and ensure the home delivers the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and operationally lead the new service, covering nursing, dementia, and residential care.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing staff team to deliver outstanding care.
• Ensure CQC readiness from day one, embedding strong governance and compliance frameworks.
• Drive occupancy and financial performance, ensuring long-term success and sustainability.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, residents, families, and other key stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Home Manager or in senior care management.
• NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
• Nurse-qualified (RGN/RMN) preferred, with strong clinical and operational oversight.
• A proven track record in CQC compliance, team development, and driving occupancy.
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial skills.

Location

The role is based near Wolverhampton, easily accessible from surrounding areas including Birmingham, Walsall, Cannock, and Sutton Coldfield.
