The Role
A leading Legal 500 law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced Commercial Litigation Partner to join its growing Birmingham office as part of a strategic expansion within its Disputes practice.
This is a key senior hire, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team, with a clear mandate to strengthen the firm’s presence in the Midlands market.
You will work alongside an established team of Partners and senior lawyers, advising a diverse and high-quality client base including multinational organisations, public sector bodies, and blue-chip companies.
The team handles a broad range of complex, high-value disputes, including:
- Commercial contract disputes
- Shareholder, partnership, and director disputes
- Breach of restrictive covenants
- Defamation matters
- International arbitration
The Candidate
- An experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer operating at Partner level, or an ambitious Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to step up
- Strong technical expertise across a wide range of commercial disputes
- A proven or developing client following, with the ability to win work and build a sustainable pipeline through networking and business development
- Commercially astute, with the drive to play a leading role in growing the practice
- Experience gained within a reputable regional, national, or international firm
- Motivated by a clear progression pathway, with aspirations toward Equity Partnership
