Senior Associate / Head of Commercial Property Department
Are you an experienced Commercial Property solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? An innovative and growing legal practice is seeking a dynamic professional to lead and develop their Commercial Property team.
About the Role:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property matters, including freehold and leasehold transactions, acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, and renewals (for landlords and tenants).
- Handling development work, site setup, due diligence, and financing/refinancing projects.
- Conducting thorough due diligence, property searches, and title investigations.
- Advising landlords, tenants, developers, and investors on legal rights and obligations.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and property law.
- Drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts and business advisory work.
- Supporting strategic growth through client development, referrals, and cross-department collaboration.
What We're Looking For:
- 6-8+ years PQE
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with strong industry experience.
- A strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Proven experience working with landlords, tenants, developers, and lenders.
- Commercially minded with a clear understanding of business drivers.
- Leadership potential, confidence, and a proactive, dependable approach.
- Passion for mentoring and developing a strong team.
- Ambition to grow into a senior leadership role and shape the future of the department.
