Rent Review Surveyor – Client-Side Landlord Role (UK Portfolio)

We are seeking an experienced Rent Review Surveyor to join an in-house property team, managing landlord and tenant matters across a diverse UK portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to work client-side, representing a major landlord with responsibility for driving value through proactive lease management.

The Role

As Rent Review Surveyor, you will lead the negotiation and management of rent reviews, lease renewals, and other landlord and tenant matters across the portfolio. Working closely with asset managers and external advisors, you will ensure income is maximised, risks are mitigated, and opportunities to enhance value are identified and delivered.

Key responsibilities include:

• Negotiating rent reviews, lease renewals, re-gears, and lease restructuring.
• Providing strategic advice on leasing and income management.
• Preparing and reviewing valuation appraisals, rental evidence, and reports.
• Managing external agents and solicitors where required.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting outcomes to senior management.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified with proven experience in landlord and tenant matters, ideally within a client-side or advisory capacity. Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to build effective relationships with tenants, advisors, and internal stakeholders are essential.
