We are currently working with a leading European private credit platform seeking an experienced Operations Associate to join its growing London-based team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an operations professional with credit or asset management experience to step into a key role supporting a highly active direct lending platform. You will play a central part in ensuring the smooth execution of loan operations, portfolio activity, and transaction processing across a fast-growing private credit business.
The Role
Working closely with investment, portfolio management, and wider operational teams, you will take ownership of key aspects of the loan lifecycle and play a critical role in supporting the ongoing scaling of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end loan lifecycle processes across private credit transactions
- Overseeing settlements, funding, servicing, and ongoing maintenance of loan positions
- Monitoring and reconciling cash flows, positions, and transaction data
- Liaising with internal stakeholders including Investment, Portfolio Management, Risk, and Finance teams
- Working with external counterparties including agents, custodians, and fund administrators
- Supporting portfolio reporting and operational data accuracy for investment decision-making
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all operational workflows
- Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives across the platform
- Supporting the continued build-out of a scalable and robust operations function
About You
- Experience in private credit, direct lending, or broader credit investment operations
- Strong understanding of syndicated loans and/or structured credit products
- Background in middle office, fund operations, or investment operations within asset management or investment banking
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently across stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and manage complex operational data
- Collaborative approach with a strong team ethic
