Real Estate Finance Solicitor

Due to continued growth and success in the department, this highly tiered Legal 500 firm are seeking a real estate finance solicitor (2+ PQE).

You will be joining a fast-paced and highly respected team, acting on a broad range of high-quality property finance transactions for an impressive lender and investor client base.

The Firm

This prominent firm has exciting growth plans over the next few years. Their current turnover is £18 million, with projected growth to £20 million next year. They are forecasting a further 15% growth year on year and are well placed to continue exceeding this.

They currently house 200 staff, of which 150 are Solicitors and Partners. As a firm they like to grow organically and promote from within, and there are multiple examples and success stories, including an individual who joined the firm as a trainee and is now a director over the course of 5 years.

They are a multi-service practice, with a particularly strong Real Estate offering, which underpins many of the firm’s wider practice areas. They punch well above their weight, with their main competitors impressively including a number of Top 50 firms.

The firm has attracted many Lawyers out of larger ‘city’ practices, who have been looking for a more collegiate, friendly culture where individuals can make more of an impact without sacrificing on quality of work and clients. The Role

They are looking for a Real Estate Finance Associate with 2+ years PQE to join their highly regarded London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and commercially driven practice, advising on a broad range of property finance transactions, including acting for lenders, investors and developers on sophisticated financing arrangements.

You will deal with a broad range of work that, among other areas, will include:

• Advising on acquisitions, investment finance, bridging finance and development finance matters

• Managing transactions from instruction through to completion in a proactive and efficient manner

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with lender panel clients and associated professionals

• Liaising with investors, lenders, property managers and wider stakeholders throughout transactions

• Supporting the continued growth of the department through business development and networking activity

• Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate

• Working to tight deadlines on high-value matters, whilst maintaining exceptional client service and technical quality

Requirements:

• You will be a Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE

• You will have strong experience within Real Estate Finance from a quality practice

• You will be technically strong and comfortable handling matters with minimal supervision

• You will have excellent communication and relationship management skills

• You will have strong commercial awareness and a client-first mindset

• You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

• You will be organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple deadlines simultaneously
