A Top 100 UK law firm is seeking an experienced Banking & Finance Partner to join its growing London team at an exciting stage of its development.

The Firm

With a strong national presence and an established reputation in the Banking & Finance space, this firm advises clearing banks, financial institutions and borrowers across a wide range of complex transactions. Its expertise spans acquisition and leveraged finance, syndicated lending, property investment and development finance, and renewable energy finance.

The firm has experienced consistent, organic growth in recent years, supported by strategic senior hires and a clear long‑term vision. It is recognised for its collaborative and forward‑thinking culture, with a strong emphasis on client relationships, sector expertise, and delivering commercially focused advice across industries including real estate, healthcare, renewables, sport and the public sector.

The Role

The firm is now looking to appoint a Banking & Finance Partner to play a key role in the continued and strategic growth of its London office.

You will join a well-established and collaborative team with a strong pipeline of high-quality work, advising lenders and borrowers on a broad range of complex finance matters. The role offers significant scope to strengthen existing client relationships while developing your own network and contributing to the team’s wider market presence.

This is a strategic hire, offering a visible leadership position within the practice. You will lead transactions, support and mentor junior lawyers, and play an integral role in shaping the future direction of the team as part of its ongoing expansion.

Requirements

• England & Wales qualified Banking & Finance Partner with strong technical expertise
• Proven track record of advising on complex finance transactions
• Commercially minded with a demonstrable ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Existing network or following, or a clear ability to generate work
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
