The Role

The Role:

This role is suited to a highly motivated individual who is confident in both sales and managing a sales team. The successful candidate should be dynamic and ambitious, with a background in working with or for large FMCG brands and familiarity with printed packaging.

Reporting to the Managing Director and serving as a board member, you will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement the sales strategy
• As a minimum, achieve the sales budget
• Present monthly performance of the sales team at the board meeting
• Support the sales team where applicable
• Work closely with the business to meet company objectives
• Travel to meet customers (including European travel)
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and drive, with a willingness to lead from the front
• Be a team player who is positive, friendly, approachable, flexible and hard working
• Show qualities of being proactive, entrepreneurial and innovative
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Adept at building strong, long-term relationships
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Preferred previous experience in print packaging
• Ideally possess knowledge of FMCG and Brands and familiarity with the client’s product portfolio
• PC literate – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Full driving licence
