Production Director (Litho + Digital Print)

A highly successful litho & digital print company is looking to appoint a highly experienced Production Director to set and communicate goals, create and improve structure and processes, and facilitate the day‑to‑day running to ensure productivity. This opportunity is for someone passionate about removing obstacles, solving problems and ensuring results.
Key responsibilities:
- Take control of the production facility and have direct responsibility for the workforce.
- Drive teams in a senior managerial role and work to high standards within a print services company.
- Create and develop a spirit of cooperation through employee involvement and development.
- Employ lean and Six Sigma processes to lead and implement manufacturing optimisation projects.
- Use continuous improvement tools to manage all activities for performance enhancement and achieving business objectives.
- Prioritise and plan activities, think ahead, establish efficient actions, and take initiative with full responsibility for outcomes.
Qualifications and experience:
- Highly experienced in a similar senior production role within litho or digital print.
- Strong working knowledge of lean / Six Sigma and experience leading optimisation projects.
- Strong communication and managerial skills to earn respect as an authoritative figure on site.
- Ability to motivate, support employee development and foster cooperation.
