Job Title: New Business Sales Executive – Durham
Reporting to: Durham Managing Director
Role Overview
The New Business Sales Executive is responsible for proactively identifying, targeting, and acquiring new business opportunities. This role is highly target-driven and focused on building a strong sales pipeline through outbound activity and closing new deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new leads via cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Identify decision-makers and build relationships with potential clients.
- Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Deliver sales pitches, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate terms and close new business deals.
- Maintain an active and accurate pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation campaigns.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor offerings.

Requirements

- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Degree not always essential; results matter more.

- Number of outbound calls/emails per week.
- New leads generated.
- Meetings booked.
- Conversion rate (lead → customer).
- Revenue from new business.

Salary
- £35,000 - £50,000 base.
- Commission structure (OTE £55k-£65k).
