Account Manager – Packaging Sector
A fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to develop a strategy and manage a major account for our client, a leader in their sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen client relationships through proactive account management.
- Maintain client satisfaction and retention.
- Actively seek to increase services offered and revenue generated to meet individual and team targets.
- Work closely with the Site Manager to agree operational efficiency targets and business objectives.
- Understand the financial status of the client portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
- Develop processes to forecast upcoming workloads accurately.
- Forge excellent client relationships through proactive directorship and communication, including face‑to‑face meetings, telephone, conference calls, and email.
- Employ listening and probing questioning skills to fully understand the client, industry sector, products, services and marketing objectives.
- Ensure all clients receive timely, high‑quality reporting from the quality team monthly and quarterly.
- Promote professionalism in manner, appearance and delivery while consistently keeping promises.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in a Key Account Manager / Account Director role within a fast‑paced, high‑volume turnover sector.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret client briefs and expedite to necessary areas of the business to achieve client timelines.
- Strong team player, highly motivated, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve business goals.
- Strong analytical mind with the capability to foresee problems early and implement suitable countermeasures.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Applicants must come from packaging or packaging repro sectors.
