Artemis Human Capital are exclusively recruiting for a Marketing Manager on behalf of a leading Private Healthcare firm. You will lead and deliver its marketing strategy, strengthen brand presence, and drive sustainable growth across all medical and aesthetic service lines.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role combining marketing leadership, digital performance management, content and campaign development, and close operational collaboration. The role requires strong partnership with clinical teams, operations, and front-of-house staff to ensure marketing activity aligns with service capacity, patient pathways, and a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy, Brand & Commercial Alignment
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with growth objectives, capacity, and operational priorities.
- Protect and enhance the organisations brands across all channels, ensuring professional, consistent, and clinically credible messaging.
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring compliance with medical advertising regulations.
- Support senior management with commercial insight, including service positioning, demand generation, and market opportunity evaluation.
2. Digital Marketing & Performance
- Develop and optimise all digital channels, including website, SEO, PPC, paid social, email, CRM, and organic social media.
- Manage paid advertising budgets with clear ROI tracking and accountability.
- Ensure digital activity aligns with operational realities such as service capacity and clinician availability.
- Manage and brief external agencies and freelancers, defining KPIs, timelines, and delivery expectations.
3. Content, Campaigns & Service Delivery
- Plan and deliver integrated campaigns for both new and established services, ensuring alignment with clinical readiness, operational capacity, and patient experience.
- Produce marketing and communications content, including blog articles, social media assets, patient information materials, and promotional collateral.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, awareness initiatives, service launches, and events.
- Ensure all patient communications are accurate, ethical, and support informed decision-making.
4. Performance, Data & Operational Insight
- Track, analyse, and report on KPIs including leads, conversions, cost per acquisition, campaign performance, and channel effectiveness.
- Use data insights to inform marketing decisions and identify operational risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management to support business planning and strategic decisions.
5. Operational & Cross-Functional Working
- Work closely with clinicians, management, and front-of-house teams to ensure alignment between marketing, patient flow, and service delivery.
- Develop a strong understanding of operations, patient pathways, and capacity constraints to inform prioritisation.
- Support the launch of new services and pathways through clear patient communication and marketing readiness.
- Act as a coordination point between marketing, operations, and external partners to enable seamless execution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of patient communication, booking journeys, and service awareness.
6. Leadership & Ways of Working
- Operate with autonomy and confidence in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Provide guidance and oversight to junior team members and external partners as required.
- Act as a trusted advisor on marketing, brand, patient communication, and service promotion.

Person Specification
- Proven experience in a Marketing Manager or senior marketing role.
- Strong digital marketing expertise (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing).
- Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and external agencies.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to align marketing with operational realities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience using marketing and performance data.
- Ability to work independently and adapt within a small, fast-paced organisation.
- Healthcare experience desirable
