Job Description

Commercial law firm in Surrey is looking to recruit a Corporate lawyer of 2 or more years’ PQE. The corporate team offers quality and strength in depth unusual outside the City and is one of the top corporate practices in the South-East. Clients include:

• Household name FTSE 100 plc’s and other major national and international groups;

\n\n

• Mid-tier businesses (quoted, private equity and privately owned);

\n\n

• Management teams in private equity backed businesses;

\n\n

• High-net-worth private clients and high growth companies.

\n\n

Their work is high-quality and diverse and covers a broad range of corporate transactional and advisory matters, including:

\n\n

• Private M&A (both buy side and sell side);

\n\n

• Private equity (principally management advisory and portfolio work);

\n\n

• Venture capital and other equity fundraisings;

\n\n

• Shareholders’ agreements and corporate joint ventures;

\n\n

• Corporate rationalisations / reorganisations;

\n\n

• General corporate advisory / partnership law;

\n\n

• Inward investment and cross border;

\n\n

• Share incentives (working closely with our excellent employment law and tax teams);

\n\n

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of matters including:

\n\n

• Mid-market M&A

\n\n

• Private equity and venture capital transactions;

\n\n

• Restructurings

\n\n

• General corporate advisory work, supporting a diverse client base from FTSE 100 companies to high-growth businesses.
