A prestigious Legal 500 firm in Somerset is seeking a highly experienced Private Client Solicitor to take on the role of Head of Department. This is a senior leadership position within a respected practice, offering excellent progression, hybrid working, and a highly competitive salary package.
The Role
As Head of Department, you will:
- Lead and manage the private client team, ensuring delivery of high-quality client service
- Oversee a broad caseload, including wills, trusts, probate, tax planning, and Court of Protection matters
- Develop and implement departmental strategy in line with firm objectives
- Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and fee earners
- Play a key role in client relationship management and business development

About You
- Senior Private Client Solicitor with significant experience (STEP qualification highly desirable)
- Proven track record in managing a successful team or department
