Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our UK & European sales operations from our Aylesbury-based headquarters. This role will focus on driving growth in the packaging sector, developing strategic partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging or related industries and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the packaging industry
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team
• Identify new business opportunities and expand Enercon’s market share
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
• Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and KPIs to senior leadership

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive sales experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
• Proven success in packaging or related manufacturing sectors
• Strong understanding of UK & European packaging market dynamics and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting
• Based within 60 minutes of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
• Willing to travel 30-50% of the time in UK & mainland Europe
