About this Role

Deputy Director of Learning for Science to support the Director in leading and developing high-quality teaching and learning within the subject area and across the academy with a focus on raising standards of student attainment and achievement.

Applications are welcome from teachers of all science specialisms. There is a requirement that the postholder will be competent in teaching A Level Biology.

We are keen to support the physical and mental wellbeing of our staff. Staff are provided with a laptop and many have their own classrooms. We offer access to an employee advice service which provides information, helpful resources, and a counselling service. Discounted membership is available for local leisure facilities including a gym, and a discount programme provided by the Trust. Staff are also able to access travel discounts for ferries and we provide eye sight tests for VDU users and annual flu vaccinations.
