Are you looking for an exciting and fulfilling career path? Testing offers just that! Embrace the challenge of exploring systems and identifying issues before they impact users. Each day is like solving a logic puzzle, with the rewarding goal of ensuring high-quality products reach the market.
Here at Heywood, we build pension software that plays a key role in securing the financial future of millions of UK citizens. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn how to build quality software in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This entry-level role is perfect for someone looking to launch their career in software testing. Most importantly, we’re looking for potential. Don’t worry if you think you don’t have it, we are good at spotting it! You can apply with or without a degree (or equivalent) qualification - please make sure your application contains any relevant education or experience.
Test Analysts are essential members of our Scrum teams. From day one, you will learn alongside experienced professionals, making valuable contributions by thinking and acting like our end users. With a strong desire to learn, you will serve as the advocate for quality in your Scrum events and product development processes.

Our Assessment Day is a great opportunity for you to gain deeper insight into our business, the role, and the team you could be joining. Throughout the day, you'll take part in a variety of interactive exercises designed to reflect real aspects of the role. You'll also meet members of our Test team and get a feel for our working environment and culture.
As part of the day, you'll have a short, informal interview with a member of our Tech team, giving us a chance to learn more about you and your potential fit within the team.
The Assessment Day will take place at our office in Altrincham on Wednesday 20 May 2026.
