Elvet Recruitment is currently working on behalf of a reputable housebuilder to recruit a Field Sales Executive based in Cumbria. This is a dynamic and customer-focused role where your primary responsibility will be to guide prospective buyers through the purchase journey, from initial enquiry to completion, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience at every stage.
The homes are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of a wide range of buyers, including first-time buyers, families moving up the ladder, downsizers, and investors. As a Field Sales Executive, your commitment to providing a high-quality service will be key to building lasting relationships with customers and achieving sales targets.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets
- Follow up on all marketing leads, engaging with prospective buyers and ensuring timely, proactive responses
- Meet with clients to assess and qualify their needs, providing clear guidance throughout the buying process
- Actively promote and sell the full range of Gleeson Options and Extras, ensuring buyers understand all available choices
- Liaise effectively with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and all other stakeholders to progress sales smoothly and professionally
- Deliver consistent customer follow-up, maintaining strong communication from initial enquiry through to completion
- Ensure all sales administration is completed accurately and on time, including contract chasing and management of customer documentation in line with company procedures
- Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity to maintain a strong understanding of local market conditions
- Maintain and update the customer enquiry database, capturing and managing customer information throughout the sales journey
- Use computer systems effectively, including COINS (full training provided and ongoing)
- Maintain the high standards of the sales areas and completed plots, carrying out regular internal and external checks, reporting issues, snagging, and instructing as required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within customer services ‘Face to Face’ – with or without new build experience; Marketing background or Retail background acceptable
- Passion for delivering top-tier customer service
- Friendly, professional, and presentable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative team player with a positive mindset
- Self-driven, organised, and proactive
- Able to represent the company brand with professionalism and integrity
Role Information
- Base Salary: £25,027 - £30,796
- OTE up to £50,000
- Car Allowance: £4,800
- 35 hours, Thursday - Monday - 10:00 - 17:00
