We are recruiting to two Health & Safety Manager posts, each playing a critical role in strengthening our safety culture across Southwark Council. While the core responsibilities and expectations are aligned, each role partners with a different area of the organisation.

Health & Safety Manager – Resources

This role leads on health and safety across our Resources functions, supporting corporate services and internal directorates. You will shape and embed effective H&S frameworks, influence senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across a diverse operational landscape.

Health & Safety Manager – Housing

This role focuses on our Social Housing services, working closely with operational teams to ensure robust health and safety practices across housing delivery. You will provide strategic oversight, strengthen compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture that protects residents, staff and contractors.

Full Time, 36 hours per week. These roles offer flexible home working blended with travel to our London Bridge HQ.

Salary range £54,360 - £61,686 per annum
