Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join our EMEA Hospitality team. Based in Birmingham, you’ll build strong relationships across your region, support hospitality businesses in finding the right solutions, and guide them through their Lightspeed journey—from first conversations to long-term partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Birmingham hospitality industry to spot trends and opportunities.
- Leverage market research and insights to shape effective territory sales plans.
- Engage prospects through high-velocity in-person meetings, outreach, and tailored presentations to convert them into loyal customers.
- Lead your territory with an entrepreneurial mindset, delivering consistent revenue growth.
- Guide clients from needs analysis and solution design through proposals, contract agreements, and seamless onboarding.
- Deliver engaging presentations showcasing Lightspeed’s POS and hospitality technology suite.
- Keep Salesforce data precise and current to streamline reporting and forecasting.
- Drive outbound initiatives and attend industry events to expand qualified leads.
- Provide customer feedback to sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and achieve collective targets.
What You Need To Bring
- Skilled in sales development best practice and sales process — building pipelines, territory planning, and driving new business with strong organisational ability.
- Proven experience in outbound sales, ideally within solution-based, technology, or hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including key segments and operational considerations.
- Understanding of sales targets, and how they contribute to wider regional growth goals.
- Experienced in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage opportunities and track performance.
- Confident communicator with excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance improvement.
- Entrepreneurial and adaptable — proactive, agile, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- High degree of autonomy and ability to lead own territory.
