Immersive Design Studios is seeking a CANVAS Product Specialist in London to support, configure, deploy, and maintain projects powered by our proprietary CANVAS software platform.
This role focuses on enterprise‑grade immersive environments, including executive meeting spaces, premium corporate presentation venues, product launches, cultural showcases, and high‑profile entertainment destinations. We are looking for a technically strong, client‑facing professional with experience in IT, audiovisual systems, media workflows, and troubleshooting.
The CANVAS Product Specialist will work closely with IDS’s software, creative, production, and project teams, while coordinating with clients, consultants, and systems integrators to ensure seamless project delivery, monitoring, and support. This position reports to the Manager and works closely with the Chief Product Officer and other CANVAS specialists.
About the Role
The CANVAS Product Specialist plays a key role in translating creative and technical requirements into stable, polished, and high‑performing CANVAS experiences.
The ideal candidate is organized, solutions‑driven, calm under pressure, and comfortable working across software, audiovisual infrastructure, networking, interactive media, and live or client‑facing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, configure, build, and maintain CANVAS projects
- Support CANVAS deployment in studio, client, and event environments
- Participate in mock‑ups, demos, testing, rehearsals, and commissioning
- Assist with the integration and testing of new applications and software features
- Identify, document, and communicate technical issues and solutions
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, network, media, display, and control‑system issues
- Provide product training and technical guidance to clients, operators, integrators, and internal teams
- Work with the software team to provide product feedback, report bugs, reproduce issues, and validate fixes
- Support live operations, project monitoring, and ongoing system maintenance
- Maintain project documentation, configuration records, and support notes

Requirements
- Professional experience in audiovisual technology, IT systems, media systems, systems integration, live events, experiential installations, or a related field
- Working knowledge of AV workflows, IT systems, media playback, display technologies, networking fundamentals, and technical support
- Experience with software configuration, system setup, testing, and troubleshooting
- Ability to read technical diagrams, signal‑flow drawings, network diagrams, and design documentation
- Familiarity with Excel, Slack, Visio, media tools, or similar platforms is an asset
- Experience with show control, media servers, interactive media, LED/display systems, streaming, conferencing, or broadcast environments is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- This role will be based primarily in London, but may require travel to other cities and countries for project deployments, client support, rehearsals, events, and installations as required
- Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom
