Your Role

We are seeking a highcaliber Project Manager - Supply Chain to join a newly formed Project Management Office within Stevenage. This role is critical to strengthening project management discipline, governance, and delivery control across the Digital Payloads portfolio.

The Project Manager will work alongside project and engineering teams to embed bestpractice project management, improving control of scope, schedule, risk, and change. The role requires confidence and independence to challenge delivery assumptions, ensure structured decisionmaking, and prevent unmanaged change from eroding delivery commitments.

This is a nontechnical PM role: strong project management capability is essential.

Your Profile

• Strong background in Project Management or PMO roles
• Demonstrated experience in:
• Schedule development and maintenance
• Risk and opportunity management
• Stakeholder management across technical and nontechnical teams
• Governance, reporting, and project controls
• Confidence to challenge change requests and delivery assumptions constructively
• Experience operating in complex, multistakeholder environments (e.g. engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, digital, or defence/aerospace)
• High level of organisation, structure, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills able to influence without authority
