Overview
We are rapidly growing our Procurement capability in the UK consulting business and need high‑caliber Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managing Consultants with experience in Procurement Strategy & Transformation, Supplier Relationship Management, Risk Management, Sourcing, Sustainability and Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
Your Role
You will work with leading clients across blue‑chip manufacturing, automotive, aerospace & defence, consumer products, retail and life science organisations to design and deliver transformational Procurement solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of transformative Procurement solutions for leading companies.
- Collaborate with Capgemini colleagues and clients to understand challenges and develop solutions.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, managing scope, quality, cost and on‑time delivery in alignment with commercial goals.
- Drive business development through proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and hosting events.

- Lead or contribute to proposals, RFPs, bids, propositions, client pitches and event hosting.
Internal Contribution
- Develop campaigns, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development and offering development.
Learning & Development
- Participate in training, certifications and other activities to support career growth and organizational skill demand.
Profile
- Knowledge of Procurement process and process design/optimisation.
- Experience with Procurement transformation and benefits case realisation using digital technologies and data‑driven insights.
- Capability in Sustainability‑driven solutions including Supplier and Sub‑Tier performance and risk management.
- Experience with Source to Contract, Purchase to Pay and Invoice processing.
- Knowledge of industry‑leading Procurement software and their capabilities.
- Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics solution design and operation, with understanding of supply chain resilience, planning, demand forecasting and tools such as AI, RPA and machine learning.
- Professional certification such as CIPS or equivalent.
Desired Experience
- Current or prior experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background.
- Proven ability to deliver consulting solutions in a matrixed organization and to engage peers and clients effectively.
- Experience building and delivering propositions.
