What You’ll Do
- Discover and convert new business opportunities – from standard lending to complex deals covering Commercial, Bridging and Development Finance
- Assess lending risk with care, ensuring each proposal is thorough, transparent, and compliant
- Support client retention and growth by assisting in annual reviews and day-to-day portfolio management
- Collaborate across departments to flag opportunities, mitigate risk, and improve processes
- Maintain accurate forecasting and sales tracking to enable smarter decision-making
- Help protect the bank’s position by managing borrower requests that impact credit risk
Who You Are
You’re commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and driven by building meaningful relationships – both with clients and your team. A background in commercial or bridging lending is a plus, but attitude and ambition matter most.
Skills Required:
- A proven record of success in business development, whether that be direct or via introducers
- Great credit analysis skills and and commercial acumen
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
