Engineering Manager, Royalty Accounting Team
Location: London, United Kingdom (UK & Ireland)
Responsibilities
- Cultivate a high-performance agile development team balancing execution of new features while maintaining our existing system.
- Manage a team of full-stack engineers to deliver royalty accounting applications.
- Hold regular 1:1s, mentor engineers, and work with contractors.
- Work with your Director to drive engineering vision.
- Work with product managers to develop solutions that align with business cases and strategy.
- Constantly improve our applications.
- Work with tech leadership to integrate new technologies into our stack when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Have experience working in an agile environment.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills paired with the ability to drive complex projects.
- Interested in music and in learning the intricacies of the music business.
- Able to influence cross-functional teams and create a consensus between engineering teams.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Experience with React/frontend TypeScript is a plus.
- 2+ years in an engineering management role.
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining complex software products.
- 5+ years in a scripting language such as Python, PHP, JavaScript.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests.
- Experience reviewing code.
