Veeam Pre‑Sales Consultant
The Veeam Pre‑Sales Consultant partners with sales teams, customers and technical teams to drive the pre‑sales process. The role requires expert technical guidance, solution design and strategic consulting to prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Scoping and Sizing Opportunities: Collaborate closely with the sales team and clients to assess requirements, objectives, and constraints, and scope and size licensing opportunities.
- Solution Design and Proposal Development: Recommend tailored Veeam solutions, act as a trusted advisor, and position Veeam benefits to meet client needs.
- Sales Support and Collaboration: Provide guidance to the sales team throughout the cycle, identify cross‑sell/upsell opportunities, and collaborate on revenue‑maximizing strategies.
- Margin Definition and Alignment: Work with sales to define prices, optimize pricing, incentives, and ensure competitive margins.
- Quoting for Strategic, Complex Requests: Create detailed quotes ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and competitiveness.
- Creation and Maintenance of Solution Collaterals: Develop and maintain a repository of presentations, case studies, white papers, and other materials to support sales efforts.
Qualifications
- Business Problem Solving via Technology: Analyze complex business challenges and translate client requirements into actionable technology solutions.
- ISV/Category Expertise: Understand Veeam solutions, leverage expertise to position relevant offerings, and stay current on industry trends.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrate commercial awareness, sales techniques, and the ability to overcome objections and close deals effectively.
- Strong Verbal Communication: Articulate complex concepts clearly, build rapport, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Sales Processes and Awareness: Navigate the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure while aligning with organizational goals.
- Industry/Market Awareness: Know relevant industries, competitive landscapes, and regulatory frameworks, anticipating market shifts.
- Continuous Learning Orientation: Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices, with a commitment to professional growth.
