We are seeking a driven and experienced Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join our disputes team and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
THE ROLE
As part of our dispute resolution team, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation and arbitration matters from inception to resolution
- Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications, legal submissions, and correspondence to a high standard
- Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk, and prospects with clear, commercially focused guidance
- Conduct and supervise disclosure exercises and document review
- Instruct and liaise with barristers, experts, and counsel
- Represent clients' interests in negotiations, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution processes
- Attend hearings and assist at trial where required
- Supervise junior members of the team including paralegals
- Contribute to business development and the growth of the disputes practice
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- NQ–3 PQE with solid, demonstrable experience in commercial dispute resolution gained in private practice — experience is essential, not optional
- Strong working knowledge of civil litigation procedure, the CPR, and court processes
- Experience of or exposure to international arbitration (ICC, LCIA, or similar) is highly desirable
- Proven ability to draft high-quality legal documents and submissions under pressure
- Sound legal judgement with the ability to identify issues, think strategically, and advise clients with confidence
- Exceptional attention to detail — every document leaving this firm must be accurate and polished
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple files and competing deadlines effectively
- Dedicated, resilient, and genuinely passionate about dispute resolution
- A collaborative team player who also has the drive to work independently when needed
