The Securities Settlements team is a critical component of our global Operations division, responsible for the timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions across all asset classes. Operating in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment, the team acts as the central hub for post‑trade processing, ensuring that all obligations arising from our trading activities are met efficiently and without operational risk.
Supporting this, is the Securities Settlements Technology team, responsible for building, maintaining, and transforming the platforms that ensure the timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions across all asset classes. The team is currently engaged in a multi‑year strategic program to modernize our settlement platforms, enhance automation, and adapt to evolving market regulations, such as the transition to T+1 settlement cycles.
We partner directly with Front Office trading desks, Operations, Finance, Custodians, and Clearing Houses to deliver robust, scalable, and resilient technology solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Belfast‑based Technology projects’ team. This role is pivotal in supporting our global Securities Settlements transformation agenda. The successful candidate will act as a key intermediary between the global Settlements Operations business and our Technology partners to define, analyze, and deliver system and process enhancements.
You will be responsible for analyzing complex business problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our development teams. As a senior member of the team, you will take ownership of analysis workstreams, mentor junior analysts, and build strong relationships with stakeholders (including at Senior‑Level) across different regions and functions – delivering / managing status updates. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned analyst to apply their deep subject matter expertise to drive meaningful change within a core function of the firm.
