What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the design and delivery of complex bridge and infrastructure projects
- Producing and overseeing high-quality engineering designs, reports and technical outputs
- Acting as technical authority on projects, signing off complex solutions
- Managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Building and developing strong client relationships
- Supporting business development - from client engagement through to winning new work
- Mentoring and developing senior engineers within the team
- Taking ownership of project financial performance and commercial delivery
- Representing the business at client meetings, industry events and technical forums
What They’re Looking For
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (ICE/IStructE accredited)
- Chartered Engineer (ICE or equivalent)
- Experience acting as Contractor’s Responsible Engineer (CRE)
- Strong background in bridge engineering, ideally within rail or major infrastructure
- Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
- Commercial awareness - comfortable owning budgets and contributing to winning work
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Experience Level
Typically 8+ years’ experience, with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and stepping into leadership responsibilities.

Additional Info
- Full UK driving licence beneficial
- PTS / Sentinel card advantageous
