Your new role

As a Structural Civil Design Engineer, you will join a well-established technical team responsible for the design and development of precast concrete solutions. You will play a key role in delivering design outputs for a wide range of infrastructure and construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.
Key responsibilities include:

• Producing detailed structural designs and calculations for precast concrete elements
• Developing technical drawings, models, and design documentation
• Liaising with internal manufacturing teams and external stakeholders to ensure design intent is achieved
• Reviewing and validating engineering designs to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
• Supporting value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and relevant UK/Ireland design standards

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful for this role, the candidate must have:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural or civil design
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete design and detailing
• Experience working with Eurocodes and industry standards
• Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, FEM tools)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
