VANRATH are pleased to be supporting a successful manufacturing business based in Greater Belfast in their recruitment of a Management Accountant. This is initially a temporary contract to join the team at short notice and is initially scheduled for a period of 3 - 6 months. If you are a Qualified Accountant, or Part-Qualified Accountant, this could be the ideal opportunity to join a global business.

Reporting to the Financial Controller the Management Accountant will assume responsibility to produce month end accounts, assisting with the budgeting & forecasting processes and presenting financial figures to senior management.

Interviewing immediately.

About you

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Part-Qualified Accountant
• Strong management accounting experience
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Strong systems skills including Advanced Excel
• Available at short notice

What you'll do

• Responsible for production of monthly management accounts
• Produce management reports & variance analysis
• Budgetary control
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Overall responsibility for transactional processes
