About the company

This is an excellent opportunity for an Accountant to join a long standing public sector organisation in Ballymena. A newly created position, supporting and working closely with the Head of Finance. The role would be ideal for a newly/recently qualified accountant, or a part-qualified accountant who is nearing qualification.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and analysis of financial reports
• Month-end and year-end processes
• Preparation of statutory and regulatory returns
• Data analysis
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement across the finance function
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or part-qualified accountant
• Strong IT Skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
