About the Team
The Core Banking Platform team is crucial in powering Airwallex's global operations by facilitating client wallet transactions and ensuring the financial accuracy of client ledgers. Primarily based in Singapore, our lean team delivers a robust, high-performance distributed multi-currency wallet platform that supports the continuous growth of Airwallex products like global transfers, payments and acquiring, card issuing, and lending. As a dynamic group of engineers, we not only build impactful platforms and products but also develop tools and processes to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Innovate: Whether you're a backend wizard familiar with Java or a frontend maestro skilled in ReactJS, you'll be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge financial solutions. Your work will directly impact the growth and success of businesses worldwide.
- Collaborate and Create: Work alongside a team of talented engineers, product managers, and designers to bring our Embedded Finance products from concept to launch. Your input will be crucial in shaping the future of finance.
- Understand and Empathize: Dive deep into the needs and challenges of our customers. Your good product sense will enable you to design and implement solutions that truly resonate with our users.
- Measure and Optimize: Leverage data to drive decisions. Your keen data sense will help you measure the success of our products and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
Qualifications
- Experienced and Technically Proficient: You possess a wealth of experience in software development, underpinned by a robust expertise in Java (for backend roles) or ReactJS (for frontend roles). Your approach goes beyond mere coding; you are a craftsman of comprehensive solutions.
