Ambulance Liaison Officer

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible individual to the role of Ambulance Liaison Officer based within the Cumbria and Lancs area of NWAS.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be required to Attend Acute Trusts across the area as required, this role involves the effective and efficient management of the handover process from ambulance resources to Acute Trust. The post holders will ideally have supervisory experience. You must possess good communication skills and have the ability to influence decisions within the Acute Trust setting.

Qualifications

• IHCD Qualified Paramedic

Knowledge/Experience

• Thorough and practical understanding of Service policies and procedures especially divert/deflection guidance.

Specific Skills and Abilities

• Have the ability to influence and negotiate with others
• Effective interpersonal skills including written, verbal and listening.
• Have the ability to motivate and lead others
• Time management, decision making and organizational skills
• Hold a valid EU Driving License with C1 category, (No more than 3 endorsement points. In exceptional circumstances a maximum of 6 points may be considered)
• Possession of IT Skills
