At Nuffield Health, we are committed to building a healthier nation. As the Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in this mission by ensuring the delivery and optimisation of pharmacy services across our hospital site in Ipswich.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Manage and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care.
- Coordination: Plan and allocate resources effectively, presenting business cases as necessary.
- Medicines Management: Act as the Medicines Management Lead and Medical Gas Lead, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines.
- Governance: Lead the implementation of the medicines optimisation governance framework.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and national standards.
- Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement projects and strategic initiatives.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and service efficiencies.
- Audit and Reporting: Adhere to the medicines audit framework and manage incident reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registration: Must be registered with the GPhC as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.
- Clinical Pharmacy Services: Proven experience in clinical pharmacy.
- Management: Previous experience in managing a team.
- Desirable: Postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience.
