The company
Our client is a specialist ecommerce company with successful online sales and business activities across Europe.
The opportunity
In order to capitalise on expanding online sales activity in international markets, they wish to hire a Business Development Manager.
The role will include the following duties and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive international acquisition strategy to enter new markets and grow existing ones with new brands and IP
- Drive new customer acquisition through direct sales efforts and by supporting partners in their sales initiatives.
- Work closely with agents to take advantage of their local knowledge and presence
- Travel internationally for fairs or customers visits.
Candidate Profile
- Fluency English is essential. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage due to the international scope of the role
- Experience in a business development, sales, or account management role, with a strong focus on international markets
- Strong communication skills, customer-oriented focus.
- Ability to prioritise a broad operational agenda. Excellent sales pitching skills
- Able to travel internationally for fairs or customers visits.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary of c45,000 - £50,000
