This Tubes Engineer - Travelling Wave role in Middlesex will also support new product introduction, act as a technical authority across key product lines, and provide engineering input during bid and customer engagement processes. Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop high performance TWT systems to meet cost, quality, and timeline requirements
• Support feasibility studies, concept development, and bid stage technical input
• Develop mechanical designs aligned with DFMA principles for efficient manufacturing
• Ensure designs withstand environmental factors such as heat, vibration, and shock
• Support transition from design into production, ensuring manufacturability and repeatability
• Analyse product yield and drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Experience

• Strong experience in TWT or similar high power RF / microwave tube design
• Knowledge of electrical and RF testing methods
• Experience designing for manufacture and assembly within complex engineering environments
• Understanding of materials and processes within vacuum technology systems
• Experience working within production and manufacturing environments
