Manager – Strategic Intelligence (APAC Focus)
A leading international consultancy is seeking a Manager to join its Asia practice, based in London. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex due diligence and strategic intelligence projects across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on Greater China, Southeast Asia, and South Asia. It is well suited to individuals with strong analytical and communication skills, regional expertise, and a proven ability to manage demanding client engagements.
The Role
As Manager, you will:
- Oversee the delivery of enhanced due diligence and strategic intelligence assignments across APAC.
- Produce high-quality, client-ready reports and visual presentations.
- Conduct and manage public domain research and human source enquiries.
- Provide in-depth briefings to clients and internal stakeholders on ongoing projects, country risk, and sector-specific issues.
- Contribute to business development activities, including drafting proposals and engaging with prospective clients.
- Build and maintain networks across the region to support information gathering and project delivery.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
- Relevant professional experience in business intelligence and consulting.
- Expertise in at least one Asia-Pacific market, with strong knowledge of commercial and regulatory risks facing investors in the region.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to deliver clear, concise reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in an Asian language—such as Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Japanese, or Korean—which will be considered a significant advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness, cultural understanding, and interest in Asian politics, business, and current affairs.
- The ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and operate effectively under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with confidence in client-facing roles and the ability to build trusted relationships.
