Junior Family Solicitor (1–4 PQE) – South London | Private Client Focus | 12-Month Contract

A specialist, niche family law practice in South London is seeking a Junior Family Solicitor (NQ-2 years PQE) to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly regarded, niche practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work across a busy and growing private client caseload.

The firm operates exclusively in private family law, with core expertise spanning:

• Divorce and financial remedy proceedings
\n\t
• Private children law (child arrangements)
\n\t
• Cohabitation disputes and TOLATA claims
\n\t
• Domestic abuse and Family Law Act applications
\n

\n\n

With offices in Croydon and Wimbledon (SW19), the practice is known for its strong client relationships, technical expertise, and consistently increasing demand for its services.

The Role

\n\n

This is a hands-on position offering early responsibility within a supportive but busy environment. The successful candidate will:

• Manage their own caseload across a range of private family matters
\n\t
• Assist senior solicitors on more complex and high-value cases
\n\t
• Gain exposure to a wide variety of family law work, including financial and children matters
\n\t
• Take an active role in client contact, case progression, and court-related work
\n

The Ideal Candidate

• NQ -2  years PQE with solid experience in private family law
\n\t
• Confident handling divorce, financial remedy, and private children matters
\n\t
• Able to manage a busy caseload with appropriate supervision
\n\t
• Strong communication and client care skills
\n\t
• Keen to develop within a specialist, high-performing team
\n
