Role Overview

The Trust is looking to appoint to the key post of Trust Secretary and Head of Corporate Governance, supporting and advising the Chief Executive in their role as Accountable Officer.

Reporting and Accountability

The postholder will be an important and valued member of the Trust's senior team, reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive and jointly accountable to the Trust Chair and Chief Executive. The role involves close liaison with both the Board and the Council of Governors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Trust-wide corporate governance systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain a continuous cycle of improvement in good governance.
