Head of Religious Studies

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated RS Teacher to join our team, inspiring students and bringing Religious Studies to life through engaging and innovative teaching. You will help students think deeply, understand diverse beliefs, and respect others’ views while promoting a love for Religious Studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and innovative Religious Studies lessons that foster critical thinking and respect for diverse perspectives.
• Provide inclusive support to ensure every student has full access to the curriculum.
• Encourage a love of Religious Studies in all learners.
• Promote understanding and respect for the varied cultural, faith, and historical backgrounds of our pupils.

Qualifications and Commitments

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Appointment subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with list checks and other relevant checks.
• Individuals barred from engaging in regulated activity with children are ineligible to apply.
