Elite Relief Security Officer – Plymouth, Falmouth and Surrounding Area
Salary: £15.50 per hour. Full time. Flexible shifts. Must drive and have access to own vehicle as travel between sites is essential.
The Role
We're looking for a professional, reliable, and flexible Relief Security Officer to join our team in the Plymouth, Falmouth and nearby areas. This role requires someone who can cover a variety of shifts and locations, so access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a visible and vigilant security presence across various client sites
- Follow site-specific Assignment Instructions (AI's) and ensure full compliance
- Maintain a high standard of personal and professional conduct
- Ensure the safety of the public and staff by proactively monitoring for risks and hazards
- Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively
- Accurately document incidents and ensure all reporting procedures are followed
- Make timely check calls and emergency contacts as required
- Attend and complete all required training and development programmes
What You'll Need
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
- Previous security experience (retail security experience is an advantage)
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Strong communication skills and a calm, confident approach under pressure
- Flexibility to cover days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
