We are looking for a Security Officer to become a valuable member of our team based at Erith, Kent.

Shift Pattern
4 on 4 off shift pattern, 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off. Avg 42 hrs per week. 07:00-19:00 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities
- Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
- Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal, are adhered to
- Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers
- Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets
- Investigate and take appropriate lawful action as authorised by corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
Qualifications
- Valid SIA licence
- Proven work experience as a Corporate Security Officer—min 1 year
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High level of self‑presentation
- IT literate – ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
- Quick thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
- 5‑year checkable work history
