Waiting list officer Endoscopy | University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust

Our JAG accredited endoscopy service, based at Furness General Hospital, is looking to recruit Band 3 waiting list officers to join our established, motivated and friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient administrative support in all aspects of the Endoscopy department’s work as directed by the Endoscopy Admin Manager.
• Accurate data input and maintenance of patient records.
• Work on site in a busy reception area, handling enquiries and providing information to patients.
• Book patients from the waiting list, prioritising own workload and working independently using initiative.
• Respond to patient enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Use Office 365 systems; sound working knowledge is an advantage.

Work Locations

• Furness General Hospital (Barrow)
• Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI)
• Westmorland General Hospital (WGH), Kendal
• Community health care premises: Millom Hospital, GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, Ulverston Community Health Centre.
