We are excited to invite applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Therapy Team within the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment Units.

In this role, you'll be part of a large, friendly, and highly supportive multidisciplinary team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Therapy Assistants. Main duties of the job

The role of the Senior Therapist is to provide, develop and deliver a specialised and skilled level of Occupational therapy/Physiotherapy intervention to emergency and assessment units across a seven day service.

Patients will include complex, multipathologies from medical, surgical and orthopaedic conditions. The purpose of the team is to provide rapid assessment and timely discharges within the Emergency Department and Acute Assessment units. Avoiding admission to wards, reducing readmission rates and collaborative working with community services are the fundamentals of our work.

We are an integrated OT/PT service with shared skills to facilitate seamless working.
