Position Overview

Staff Nurse – Acute Medical Unit (46 beds) at Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Castle Lane East.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and ongoing care of acutely unwell patients.
• Participate in a fast‑moving, shift‑based environment covering day, weekend and night.
• Support continuous professional development within a collaborative learning setting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Registered Nurse (UK NMC Registration required).
• Post‑registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience as a staff nurse in an acute environment preferred.

Work Schedule

Shift pattern includes day, weekend and night shifts. Includes a 6‑month probationary period subject to performance review.

Location

Royal Bournemouth Hospital, Castle Lane East.
