Are you a passionate and motivated podiatrist looking for a rewarding career? An exciting opportunity has arisen for two permanent Band 6 Podiatrists to join the Manchester Local Care Organisation's Community Podiatry team in Central Manchester.

Responsibilities
- Versatile Work Settings: Provide care across acute settings, community clinics, residential and nursing homes, day centres, and patients' homes.
- Patient Treatment Management: Actively manage treatment programmes in line with care planning and discharge guidelines.
- Collaborative Decision-Making: Use the decision-making processes to identify when patients need referrals to other professionals or specialist areas, following agreed pathways.
- Nail Surgery: Perform nail surgery (undertaking procedures under supervision if not already proficient).
- Specialist Rotations: Participate in rotations in areas such as nail surgery, diabetes, patho-mechanics, and vascular care.
- Orthoses Provision: Arrange for orthoses, pressure-relieving insoles, and shoe inserts as needed.
- Workload Planning: Plan and manage your daily workload for wards, clinics, home visits, and visits to residential and nursing homes.
- Flexibility: Provide cover for other podiatrists at short notice or during absences, covering sites across North Manchester.
- Administrative Duties: Complete all necessary administrative tasks associated with the role.
- Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as required by the department.
- Compliance: Adhere to all Trust policies, guidelines, and procedures.
