Job Description

Are you a technically strong HVAC service engineer with proven experience in fault finding, repair, service and maintenance across chiller and wider applied HVAC systems?

Do you want to join a highly respected and award-winning UK HVAC solutions business where your technical capability, professionalism and customer approach will be genuinely valued and supported?

We are partnered with a market leading UK HVAC business with an outstanding reputation for delivering high quality heating, cooling and ventilation solutions across commercial, industrial and specialist environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and self‑motivated mobile engineer to join a growing service operation across the Midlands and North, working within a business known for technical quality, strong internal support and long‑term career development.

This role will suit someone who takes pride in technical standards, enjoys working autonomously in the field and is confident representing a high‑quality business in front of customers.

The Company

My client is a successful and well‑regarded UK HVAC product, service and turnkey solutions provider with a strong reputation built through professionalism, delivery and engineering expertise.

The business supports clients across a broad range of commercial, industrial and specialist built environment settings, delivering high quality HVAC solutions including chillers, heat pumps, air handling units, refrigeration, comfort cooling and associated systems.

With a clear commitment to quality, service and the development of its people, my client offers a strong platform for engineers who want stability, progression and the chance to build a long‑term career in a technically credible and forward‑thinking business.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and increasing demand across the service side of the business, my client is looking to appoint a high‑calibre Chiller & HVAC Service Engineer to support service activity across the Midlands and North.

Role

Operating remotely in the field, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding, repair and general technical support across my client’s equipment and, where required, other manufacturers’ systems.

The role will place particular emphasis on chillers, heat pumps, AHUs and dehumidification equipment, although wider exposure to air conditioning, refrigeration and associated HVAC systems will also be valuable.

You will work closely with customers and internal support teams, acting as a visible and professional representative of the business while helping to maintain high service standards, technical reliability and strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

The Person

This role will suit someone who enjoys responsibility, technical problem solving and the satisfaction of delivering high quality engineering work in the field.

You may already be operating as a Chiller Engineer, HVAC Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer or Service Technician within a relevant commercial or industrial setting and now be looking for a role with a stronger platform, better support and greater long‑term potential.

You will be someone who takes pride in technical standards, works well independently and understands the importance of professionalism, responsiveness and customer confidence on site.

You will be comfortable handling service, repair and maintenance activity across a range of HVAC systems, with confidence around chillers and closely aligned equipment.

Most importantly, you will want to be part of a business where engineering quality matters, where your contribution is valued and where there is genuine opportunity to grow over time.
